My New Bike (Non-Motorized)
While a CBR would be very sweet to have, I actually bought myself a nice new intro road bike, with the intention of starting to ride in to work whenever possible. While this will eventually cut back on my gas costs for day to day travel, it will also help me get back into shape, and especially help build up my legs for ski season. I went out for my trial run yesterday; 0 crashes (a plus since I'm not used to clip pedals), 4 miles. I need to get up to 10 miles for the "to work" trip... Shouldn't be too hard. Here's the beauty:

Update - 2:22PM Monday, October 17th, 2005: Well 10 miles doesn't seem so long anymore; I mad a 12 mile trip on Sunday morning. With a water pack on my back and my iPod playing tunes it was a fun ride, and I could have easily gone further. But I figure it's good to up the distance incrementally.
