REVIEW: Serenity
I can't believe it's taken me this long to post this review... something's wrong with me, but I guess most of you already new that :-D.
Anyways I'll start by saying that I'm slightly biased in that I've watched the Firefly TV series (the precursor to the movie), and really enjoyed it. Now that I have that out of the way:
MOVIE OF THE YEAR
No joke, this blew away any other movie I've seen this year (including Batman Begins which was outstanding itself), and is seriously the best Science Fiction movie to be released in I don't know how long (maybe Star Trek 6?). From the story, to the audio, to the visuals, to even the message behind the story, Serenity hit the bullseye on all of them. While I would assume anyone that hasn't seen the Firefly series would enjoy the movie, please watch the series first. You'll enjoy the movie so so much more. Give me a ring and I'll send you the DVD set! Joss Whendon is my master now!
